BLURB: It’s customary for Gothic romance novels to include a mysterious girl locked in the attic. Hannah Smith just wishes she wasn’t that girl. As the companion to an earl’s daughter with a strange affliction, Hannah knows she’s lucky to have a roof over her head and food in her belly when so many orphans starve on the streets. Being a narcoleptic who falls asleep at the most inconvenient moments only reinforces how lucky she is to have a home and a friend who’ll take care of her when she’s unconscious. Yet freedom is something Hannah longs for. She did not, however, want her freedom to arrive in the form of kidnapping.

Taken by handsome Jack Langley to a place known as Freak House, she finds herself under the same roof as a mad scientist, his niece, a mute servant and Jack, a fire starter with a mysterious past of his own. They assure Hannah she is not a prisoner and that they want to help her. The problem is, they think she’s the earl’s daughter. What will they do when they discover they took the wrong girl?

Soon enough, he finds that everything is not as they imagined; more children than what were originally documented escaped from that building, many with no traceable origins and Ellis needs to find out why, prepared to go to great lengths to do so.

In a warm, inviting household and faced with a real family the two aren’t sure how to handle things but are certain they will never be able to tell others what went on in their pasts.

Note on changes to Ebook Cover Files

I’m posting this as a note on my ebook cover files. I will no longer be offering the full resolution and lower resolution TIFF files as a default when you order an ebook from me.

Previously I would send a full resolution version in both JPEG and TIFF, as well as a lower resolution in both JPEG and TIFF with every ebook. Because of the file sizes of TIFF images, I will no longer be doing this. Instead I will just be sending the JPEG images. (Most people only ever use the JPEG images anyways.)

HOWEVER, that does not mean that you can not have a TIFF version. I am more than willing to supply other file formats per request (no extra charge). So if you need a TIFF file, or a PNG file, just ask!
